Review by hotel critic
Review of Black Mountains: A Balanced RetreatAs a tea plantation owner from Galle, Sri Lanka, I am accustomed to the harmony of nature and the allure of luxurious retreats. Upon arrival, Nicholas and her son provided seamless assistance with our bags to our tent-a cozy space featuring a lovely bed, duvets, and necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The outdoor dining area allowed for peaceful meal experiences beneath the oak tree, complemented by sounds of nature. While the tents were well-equipped, including a fair amount of cooking supplies, I recommend bringing additional blankets for the cooler nights. What sets Black Mountains apart is its focus on value. The property offers a balance of rustic charm and thoughtful facilities, particularly the ample space surrounding the tents, ensuring privacy and safety, which is ideal for families. For a reasonable price, guests can embrace the beauty of nature without compromising on comfort. Black Mountains embodies a wise choice for those seeking an escape that captures both the essence of luxury and the practicality of value. I look forward to returning.
